About FUNCTION
1- INTRODUCTION:
Function are use in Mathematical terms.They are very important tool in which, they are described in mathematics .Mathematics are many branches .But Function are used in CALCULUS (Is name Mathematics Branches).Thus the Function play central role in Calculus.
2-CONCEPT OF FUNCTION:
Function term was recognized A 1⬜ GERMANY MATHEMATICIAN LEIBNIZ (1646-1716).His work was that described to dependence of one quantity on another function.Function is denoted by "f".
3-Examples
There are following examples are giving below.To understand that examples
1-
The area of " A"is square depend the one side of "x".then the formula is formed
A=X𝅆2 (square of X)
A is function of X.
2- Volume of Sphere is
V=4∕3⊼r3 (cuble of radius ) .which show that V is function of radius r .
4-REMARKS
In both examples ,we have considered that function is dependent in on one term.Such that "A" Is dependent in "X".Therefore ,function is Rule or Correspondence each element in the first set correspond to one.
5-FUNCTION- DOMAIN:
A function "f"from a set X to a set Y is correspondence that assigns to each element x in X and a unique element y in Y on which set X is called Domain of "f".
the set of corresponding elements y in Y is called the Range of "f".
6-NOTATION AND VALUE OF FUNCTION:
2⬜SWISS Mathematician EULER (1707-1783).He was invented a symbolic denoted by y=f(x)
This is show that y is a function of x.It means that all elements of "x " are represent in " y" function.
